William "Billy" Eger was one of Florida's most creative and prolific lure makers. His lures were so attractive they caught the eye of both fish and fishermen!

Best known for his patented frog skin application, Eger shared this unique process with other lure companies, like Paw Paw and Shakespeare. His first offerings were the Nature Frog, Florida Special and Fish Hawg. Early painted, glass-eye versions like the ones below predate the frog-skin period.
